“Companies that are able to embrace a new way of thinking creatively will thrive. And those stuck in the analytical past will die.”
Nir Bashan recently shared why joining the heart and mind—the creative in the analytical—is so critical for solving challenging marketing problems.
I think that we have spent far too long embracing analytical principles. We’ve overdeveloped the analytical side. Different attributes of the human experience have taken us away from creativity and to analytics.
I think we need to join it with the heart, which for me comes from creativity.
And unless we join those two things together, we’re always wondering why we can’t get where we need to go.
It’s just amazing to me that there is a wealth of potential that is free. It costs zero. It’s just changing your mindset to accepting new and different ideas.
The economy is changing so rapidly, and the things that you need to do to stay competitive these days are not the same things that you needed to stay competitive six months ago.
Creativity gives you that ability to continually change—stay fresh, new, and exciting in everything that you do.
So, what are you doing to stay at the top of your creative game?
